Black and white photographs from 1970-71 have been preserved showing the sparse beginnings of what has become one of the finest privately-owned museums of select, labeled trees, shrubs, ground covers, perennials, and annual flowers.
The preserved black and white photos can be viewed along with color photos of the same areas as they appeared in 2005.
